DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION

Spring bicycle frames are a result of thoughtful development. Geometry is developed using modern methods such as numerical simulations and advanced 3D modeling. All development and production knowledge comes from the automotive industry, meaning that besides careful planning and idea generation methods we also use the best available commercial software for design, Catia for 3D modeling, and Abaqus for advanced simulations based on the finite element method.

Spring bicycle frames are a result of thoughtful development. Geometry is developed using modern methods such as numerical simulations and advanced 3D modeling. All development and production knowledge comes from the automotive industry, meaning that besides careful planning and idea generation methods we also use the best available commercial software for design, Catia for 3D modeling, and Abaqus for advanced simulations based on the finite element method.

We focused on testing as well, to achieve the best performance and riding experience. As a result, the bicycles are lightweight (between 1.7 and 2.1 kg) and fun to ride.

During production, both accuracy and proper materials selection are of great importance to us. Raw materials are carefully chosen and machined to perfectly matching parts that are then bonded together with a custom glue mixture.

After that, the surface is ground to perfect smoothness and protected from any weather conditions with a transparent coating.
